The 12th National Particle Measurement Academic Conference was held in Hangzhou on November 8-10, 2019. Bettersizer 2600 laser particle size analyzer
was awarded first prize in particle measurement.
The Bettersizer 2600 laser particle size analyzer, which won the first prize of Chinese Society of Particuology in particle measurement
at this conference, is a high-performance laser particle size analyzer developed by Bettersize. First of all, it is equipped with the Fourier and reverse Fourier optical system initiated by Bettersize. The detection angle of scattered light is 0.0163~175° and the measurement range is 0.02~2600 µm. With high sensitivity and high resolution, Bettersizer 2600 can automatically and accurately identify samples of single-peak distribution, double-peak distribution and multimodal distribution. Both the accuracy and the repeatability are less than 0.5%.

The system is equipped with water circulation dispersion system, solvent circulation dispersion system (20~100 ml), micro volume sample cell system for solvent (5~10ml), conventional dry dispersion sample introducing system, and micro volume dry dispersion sample introducing system (10 mg~1 g). Moreover, with 3Q certification, electronic signature and SOP (one-button operation), Bettersizer 2600 can not only be used for the routine particle size measurement
and QC measurements of many industrial powder materials, but also can meet the specific requirements in fields like pharmaceutical manufacturing, food, new energy materials, precious metals, as well as research and teaching, which makes it a versatile laser particle size analyzer.

The National Particle Measurement Academic Conference is hosted by the Particle Measurement Committee from Chinese Society of Particuology and is held every two years. It represents the highest academic standards of particle measurement in China. More than 140 experts and representatives in particle measurement field attended the conference including Prof. Luo Guangsheng from Tsinghua University and Prof. Wei Yansong from China Institute of Atomic Energy. They made special reports at the meeting. Fan Jilai, director of R&D department in Bettersize Instrument, was invited to give a report on the latest technologies of particle measurement in Bettersize. It comprehensively demonstrated the latest technologies and instruments in the past two years, and was highly regarded by the experts at the conference.
After the meeting was concluded, the chairman of Particle Measurement Committee, Mr. Ge Baozhen announced that the 13th National Particle Measurement Academic Conference will be held in Tianjin in 2021. We believe there will be more talents and accomplishments in particle measurement field of China by then.
