Why Does a Particle Size Analyser Need to be Grounded?

"Grounding" gives the shell of instrument and the common port terminal zero potential. It has two functions:

(1) Improve the instrument stability by enhancing the ability of anti-interference;
(2) Ensure the safety of the operator. If the power supply in a lab does not have a ground wire, a temporary ground wire should be installed that connects directly to the earth/ground and the instrument shell or the power line of the instrument.
